Why do We Collect Personal Information?

Nomify collects and uses your personal information to allow us to process your subscription so you can use our services as well as providing us with the ability to offer you superior customer service. We may require this information to contact you regarding an order or payment, or to send you our newsletter if you have opted in to receive one.

How we collect personal information

We collect your personal information when you register on our site. This is done either as an independant task on the website, or during the order process. We only collect your information through a SSL 256bit secure server, this is shown by the padlock symbol near the address bar. You can also validate our SSL connection by clicking on the padlock, where you can view the Digitally signed certificate.

Do We Disclose Personal Information?

No, we don't disclose your personal information to any third party unless it is required to provide you with the products and services we offer.  For example you may interact with third parties such as Stripe when making a payment.  When information is passed to a third party, we make sure that your data is processed in accordance with instructions set out by us.  You also have the option to manage your data with these third parties in the same way you would with us.

Access to Your Personal Information & Your Rights

You always have access to the information we have about you. To review and update your personal information, simply log into your account.  You can also contact us directly to request additonal information about:-

  • What personal data we hold about you
  • The purposes of the processing
  • The categories of personal data concerned
  • The recipients to whom the personal data has/will be disclosed
  • How long we intend to store your personal data for
  • If we did not collect the data directly from you, information about the source

If you believe any of the information we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to request us to correct it as soon as possible.

Your rights also extend to asking us to erase all your personal data and to restrict how it is processed in line with data protection laws.

Data Retention

Some of your personal data my be retained to meet certain regulatory requirements.  For example we are required by UK tax law to keep your basic personal details such as your name, address, email address and phone number for a minimum of 6 years, after which this data will be destroyed.  Some data may be kept for longer but only under your strict instructions.

Data relating to direct marketing will be kept until you instruct us not to do so.  When you withdraw your right to use your data for direct marketing, your email address and name will be removed from our mailing list.

Data Security

We take certain measures to make sure your personal data stays secure.  We work hard to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure, and have specific protocols in place including:-

How We Collect Your Card Information

When you place an order with us using your credit card, your information is passed for processing to our online card processing agency using a 128bit SSL secure connection.
